Twelve reasons: #11 - The Atmosphere

THERE are so many good reasons to go to the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, so we're counting them down from twelve to one to showcase all of the cool stuff that goes on across three magical days on the Mountain each February.

At Number 11 it's the unique Atmosphere that makes the 12-hour such a special place to go and visit.

Whether it's sitting under the shade at the top of the Mountain, chilling in a corporate suite or enjoying a beverage with your mates at the unique Heineken rooftop bar on Pit straight, there's a great vibe around the place.

The crowd can spread out meaning you're not battling massive queues to move around the place. The Bathurst weather is perfect 'Aussie Summer' specification (though bring a hat and some sunscreen) and you can wander through the entire precinct to see all the sights.

There's more access than most race meetings in Australia - it's free to enter the pit and paddock area, for example - and the stars of the show (both drivers and cars alike) are all approachable. It's the best place to get up close and personal with them all.

There's a unique vibe about the 12-Hour that you simply must experience yourself.
