AUSTRALIA’S International Enduro will return bigger and better than ever before in 2027, with the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour to return across four days of action on Thursday, 11 February to Sunday, 14 February next year.

The date confirmation locks the event into its new mid-February slot on the global motorsport calendar following a successful shift this year - one that saw the biggest grid in six years, a record number of campers and a record 55,231 people attend across the three days.

The expansion to four days will open opportunities for more on-track activity, including paid testing for Bathurst 12 Hour competitors and a more immersive experience for fans and competitors alike – including a bigger and better Track to Town experience for the City of Bathurst and visitors alike to enjoy.

In conjunction with the date announcement, Meguiar’s has confirmed it has extended its Naming Rights partnership for the event through 2027, continuing its long‑term support of one of the world’s premier GT endurance races.

The Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour doubles as the opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, the only global GT3 Championship that includes races at famous racing locations including Spa Francorchamps, the Nürburgring, Suzuka and Indianapolis.

“The mid‑February timing received positive feedback across all aspects of the event, from competitors and manufacturers through to partners, broadcasters and the local community, reflecting the strength of the event and its potential to grow further on and off the track.” said Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour Event Director Shane Rudzis.

“We had clear feedback across the board to maintain a similar window for 2027. Balancing international calendars, freight and manufacturer commitments is never simple however we’re confident these dates strike the right balance and a commitment to a world-class experience for our competitors, fans and partners at Mount Panorama.”

Bathurst Mayor, Cr. Robert ‘Stumpy’ Taylor said the event continued to play a significant role in the city’s growth and global profile.

“The Bathurst 12 Hour has become a cornerstone event for Bathurst, delivering enormous economic benefits while showcasing Mount Panorama and our region to a worldwide audience,” Cr. Taylor said.

“The growth of the event in recent years has been extraordinary, and the confirmation of the 2027 dates is fantastic news for local businesses, the community and the broader Central West region.”

Further news surrounding the event’s growth into 2027 will be made later this year.

The Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour is proudly supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
