AUSTRALIAN business, Scandia Group Pty Ltd will up-the-ante at the 2020 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour - not only backing a two-car team on track but confirming a broader involvement off it as well.

Scandia, an Australian designer and manufacturer of high-end fireplaces, fire-based ovens and stoves, and split-system cooling and heating, are celebrating over 65 years in the Australian marketplace.

Fans will be the big winner of the new relationship thanks to an exciting competition announced today, that will see two winners each win a brand-new Scandia split system Air Conditioning unit following the event this year.

Scandia were recently announced the major sponsor of MARC Cars Australia’s two-car Bathurst 12 Hour attack, the two-car team to include Supercars star Nick Percat among its highly accomplished driving squad.

Percat will be joined by experienced racers Aaron Cameron and Jake Camilleri in the No. 91 MARC Cars Australia entry, while Hadrian Morrall will have young-gun Tyler Everingham and former British Touring Car Championship racer James Kaye alongside him in the No. 92 entry.

The cars were unveiled earlier this week sporting a stunning black and orange livery that will stand out on track within 12-hour field.

Scandia will also extend their support to the event itself by confirming their sponsorship of the ‘Scandia Drone Cam’ within the race broadcast on FOX Sports and Channel Seven.

A key element of the broadcast, the Scandia Drone Cam will provide stunning aerial vision of Mount Panorama throughout the weekend to a national and international audience.

The company will also run a competition allowing 12-Hour fans to go into the draw to win one of two Scandia split-system Air Conditioning units with a retail value of up to $7k total

Commencing on January 23rd and running until the Monday following the 2020 event, fans need to only view a video on the event Facebook page highlighting three key moments from Bathurst 12 Hour history before nominating their favourite moment in the comments section.

The two best answers in 25 words or less will be selected as winners.

The competition runs until Monday, 3 February with the winner to be announced soon thereafter.
