A NEW COVERED stand at one of the most famous corners on the circuit will be a highlight of new spectator facilities at the 2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

A new covered grandstand at turn one, the fabled ‘Hell Corner’, will be the perfect place to catch all the action across the three day event. As a bonus, the roof means fans will be out of the elements – be it rain, hail or shine – on race day.

The new stand is in response to growing demand for grandstand seats at the event, which will again feature some of the world’s best cars, teams and drivers doing battle in Australia’s only ‘around the clock’ enduro.

“The view from Grandstand S12 will be extraordinary, being located on the outside of the track at the exit of turn one,” said Event Manager, Murray Hodges.

“This stand is covered and is the prime viewing position to witness the start or potential race carnage before the cars ascend the mountain.

“This stand offers the best view of pit lane exit up to Mountain Straight section of the track. Spectators in the Turn 1 grandstand will be able to watch the rest of the race as well, because on the opposite side there will be a giant TV screen.”

All ticketholders in the new Grandstand will as a bonus receive access to an exclusive Pit Lane walk on the Friday or Saturday of the event.

Prices start from $262.20 for a concession ticket and can be purchased at Ticketek by clicking here.

In addition to the new stand at Hell Corner, seats remain available in the Ivan Stibbard memorial grandstand (S8), opposite the pits on the start-finish straight (pictured).

As well as being perhaps the best place to witness the stunning pre-dawn rolling start, the stand is also place directly opposite pit lane, allowing for fans to watch the race strategy unfold as teams make ten or more scheduled stops each across the day.

The Pit straight stand is partially covered, is close to major amenities and has a super screen directly opposite to ensure fans don’t miss a second of the action.

Prices start from $89.90 for a concession ticket and can be purchased at Ticketek by clicking here.
