Matt Stone Racing is excited to announce a new partnership with Aussie Driver Search, which will see the team run the ADS entry in the 2019 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

Supercars driver Todd Hazelwood will lead the team in next year’s race, driving the Audi R8 LMS that has been used throughout the talent search competition this year.

Founder of ADS Kyle Austin said he’s excited to see the programme expand in 2019.

“We recently announced that we are giving away a drive in our Audi R8 LMS in the 2020 Bathurst 12 Hour as the major prize for next year’s GT Competition,” Austin said.

“What better way to get a head start than entering the car in next year’s 12 Hour with Matt Stone Racing.

“It’s the same car that hundreds of our competitors have driven across the country this year as part of our GT Competition.”

Matt Stone added that he’s looking forward to seeing what the team can do at the 12 Hour in 2019.

“We are excited to enter the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2019 with Aussie Driver Search in what is an incredible opportunity for both our team and ADS,” Stone said.

“With Todd to lead the campaign it should be a fantastic event and we look forward to announcing the other drivers soon.

"We have a great year lined-up with Aussie Driver Search and it's fantastic to have our partnership grow going into next season."

The 12 Hour partnership is in addition to the 2019 ADS Super2 entry, which will see recent ADS Pro Competition winner Matt Powers race MSR’s Holden VF Commodore in the series.

The driver combination for the team's Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour campaign will be announced shortly.
