AN action packed opening day at the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour concluded with an abrupt end to practice four.

The #15 Baigent Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 and #8 Scott Taylor Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3, driven by Max Twigg, came together in dramatic fashion at The Chase.

While Twigg emerged unscathed, Kent Baigent, who was behind the wheel of the #15 BMW, has been taken to hospital for precautionary scans on his back, while his BMW M4 has been withdrawn from the event after suffering damage beyond immediate repair.
