DANISH team High Class Racing will make their Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour debut in 2026, confirming the entry of a Porsche 911 GT3R for their first shot at Australia’s International Enduro.

Founded in 1990, the team comes with vast experience in top-flight endurance racing, including multiple starts in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA Sports Car Championship, among other high-profile series.

The team won the 2021 GT2 European Series and has recently been active in the Le Mans cup and Asian Le Mans Series, fielding LMP3 entries – including winning the final race of the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series in Abu Dhabi.

The team has locked in key elements of their driving squad, with Chinese driver Kerong Li the first announced.

Hailing from Xian, Kerong has built an extensive CV competing around the world in the 24H series and this year racing Porsche machinery in GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS and the Suzuka 1000km – along with selected starts in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.

The remainder of the team’s driving squad will be announced in due course.

The team has shown off their distinctive Porsche 992 GT3R that they will field in the race, sporting a distinct red and white livery – with nods to iconic Porsche designs of the past.

The car is entered in the Bronze category, which is shaping as an intensely competitive ‘race within a race’ in the broader GT3 entry list assembling for next year.

Already announced is another Porsche 911 GT3R entered by San Remo-based team Tsunami RT, who will also be making their Bathurst debut next February.

The 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on February 13-15 next year with tickets, camping, corporate experiences and grandstand seating all on sale now.
