Qualifying for all classes in this weekend's Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour has seen the grid finalised for the lower classes participating in tomorrow's endurance race.

Across the three classes, Anton de Pasquale in the #91 MARC Cars entry was the quickest of the non-Class A machines despite earning a two-place grid penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

The Supercars young gun was able to get the MARC II Mustang around Mount Panorama in 2:05.3653, threatening the times of some Class A machines while having to back off to not go quicker than a 2:05 in an official lap.

While Paul Tracy was put in the car to get up track time, de Pasquale returned to steer in the final ten minutes, going well below the 2:05 minimum time with a 2:04.2585 which was later deleted.

Close behind the leading Class I car was Briton Ben Barker in the #4 Grove Group Porsche, his 2:06.4520 early on in the session good enough for the Class B pole as he parked the car up early on.

For a good portion of the session, Barker had a two second gap over the #43 Porsche Carerra Cup entry though Richard Muscat cut the gap down late in the piece, ending up around eight-tenths away from the class leader.

Heading up Class C was Mathias Beche in the #71 KTM/M Motorsport entry, lapping slower than the Class I cars but ending up the fastest of the GT4 battle.
