Get your 'Glamp' on at Bathurst

GLAMPING is camping with a touch of glamour – and it will be on offer to race goers at the 2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour for the first time.

Carrying on the long tradition of camping at the top of Mount Panorama, ‘Tent City’ will offer camping facilities that allow patrons to bring only clothes, a towel and a tooth brush to enjoy the weekend, with the event supplying everything else.

In essence it’s just like checking into a hotel.. a hotel where the view out the door is one of the best corners in Australian motorsport!

Located in the Reid / Sulman Park camp grounds, the Bathurst 12 Hour has partnered with Tent City hire to provide a campground with all the essentials provided and situated in one of the best positions on top of the Mountain.

The campground will include supplied tents, supplied beds, dedicated toilet and shower facilities, communal area and seating, plus lots more. Lighting is supplied – both in and outside of the tents – while bedding can be upgraded as part of the package to include double beds and extra-thick foam mattresses like you’d have at home.

The facility will also have 24 hour security (including car parking) and fully serviced showers and toilet blocks.

Breakfasts (both continental style and a fully cooked hot breakfast) are part of the package, served in the hospitality marquee each morning.

The Tent City hospitality marquee becomes a social area for patrons, and includes tables and chairs, cold rooms, refrigerator, help yourself complimentary tea and coffee, BBQs, microwave and toasters for those patron who wish to cook their own meal or have a snack at the end of the day. Patrons are welcome to store their own drinks in the cold room.

The hospitality area even includes a TV, so you can get out of the elements and chill out across the weekend.

Accommodation packages are available as single, twin, triple share and also capable of accommodating groups up to five people. Sites are available in three, four or five day packages, while groups traveling together can be camped next to each other. Just mention when booking!
