THE LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour's longstanding 'Cars and Caffeine' event will have a new name and a new major sponsor in 2023 and beyond.
A hugely popular and now traditional part of the event, USA car detailing product manufacturer Chemical Guys will back the Bathurst 12 Hour 'Chemical Guys Rides & Coffee' event for the next three years.
Chemical Guys' addition to the event adds to the cadre of global brands supporting Australia's International Enduro.
From exclusive small-batch waxes to cutting edge hybrid coatings, nano-polishes, and ceramic sealants, Chemical Guys do more than innovate in the industry, they redefine it.
Chemical Guys are more than a brand, it’s a lifestyle with a worldwide following. Driven by adventure, a passion for shine, and a love for the road ahead, they welcome any and all who share this passion to become part of our family.
When they started, Chemical Guys decided to wipe the slate clean and start off fresh with the simple idea to make the best car care chemicals to the highest quality standard.
Over the years, the brand has grown into so much more: a huge library of detailing knowledge, a benchmark in the industry, group of friends with one common passion.
Chemical Guys will work closely with long-time 12-Hour Rides & Coffee promoter Luke O'Neill to deliver what has become a traditional and hugely popular element of the 12-Hour weekend festival.
“We’re extremely excited to be partnering with the Bathurst 12 Hour and Luke O’Neill to bring Chemical Guys Rides & Coffee to Mt Panorama for the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour," said Alex Morrison, Managing Director of Chemical Guys Australia.
An event like this draws in some of the biggest and best car enthusiasts from all the world and we look forward to sharing our passion for shine with them during the weekend and showing how Chemical Guys car care products can take whatever they drive to the next level.”
"I'm excited to welcome The Chemical Guys as the naming rights sponsor of the "Rides & Coffee" at the Bathurst 12 Hour," added Luke O'Neill from LONGROUP - Chemical Guys Rides & Coffee promoter.
"Having started the event with Bathurst 12 Hour Management in 2016, we have seen our gathering of cars expand year on year, and now with Alex and his team supporting the event we will grow it to an even bigger scale.
"2023 promises to be the biggest yet, with close to 100 display cars expected - ranging from old Army trucks and 80's police cars to some full-on European hypercars. The Saturday parade lap will look epic!"
If you have a special car you'd like to display, contact Luke O'Neill directly via luke@longroup.com.au for further information.
Additional key elements around the Chemical Guys Rides & Coffee activation, including plans for product displays and some of the cars set to be on display, will be announced in the leadup to the February 3-5 event next year.
