Bentley partners with B12hr to celebrate 100th anniversary

THE DEBUT of the new Bentley Continental GT3 at Mount Panorama will not be the only presence the iconic brand enjoys at the 2019 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

Bentley will return as a major partner of the January 31-February 3 Event this year with major celebrations planned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the iconic Bentley brand.

A unique Centenary dinner on the Saturday evening – located in pit lane in front of the Bentley Team M-Sport garages – will be the highlight of several events planned for the weekend.

Bentley owners and special guests will also have the unique opportunity to lap Mount Panorama in their own vehicles during a special lunch time parade session.

And in a unique experience, Bentley guests will be driven to the top of Mount Panorama aboard Bentley Bentayga SUVs to enjoy the race from the top of the Mountain, as the Continental GT3 cars challenge for Bathurst victory.

Bentley branding will also appear at the Bentley Forrest's Elbow at the top of the iconic Conrod Straight.

Bentley Team M-Sport will field a two-car team this year as they look to challenge for their first Bathurst victory, having finished on the podium twice in the last three years.

“The Bentley brand is iconic and we are thrilled to welcome them back to the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, especially during such a special anniversary year for the brand,” Shane Rudzis, Bathurst 12 Hour Partnerships Manager said.

“We are working closely with Bentley to innovate and create new ways for them to not only look after their customers and guests, but engage the 12-hour fans who will be in attendance throughout.

“Of course one of the highlights will be seeing the pair of Continental GT3s challenge for a maiden win on the Mountain – the team, drivers and cars have become fan favourites over the years.”

The 2019 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour will be held across four days, on 31 January to 3 February 2019.
