LIQUI-MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour teams have impressed in the Circuit of the Americas 24 Hour race held last weekend.
Brookspeed Racing, Pro Sport Performance, Ash Seward Motorsport and MARC Cars Australia all scored podium finishes in their respective classes during the Texas enduro, as did 12-hour commentator John Hindhaugh from radiolemans.com.
Stephen Grove, Danny Stutterd and Sam Fillmore who finished second in Class 991, and a stunning 10th outright, in their Porsche GT3 Cup Car run by Ash Seward Motorsport.
After running in 11th after the first part of the race, they made up a place in Part 2, ultimately completing a total of 563 laps.
The class was won by a Pro Sport Performance Porsche - the Nurburgring-based team regulars in the 12-Hour's GT4 class.
MARC Cars Australia scored a 1-2 in the SP2 class, the Niall / Harvey / Niall / Thompson No. 214 car beating the sister Camilleri / Kassulke / Haber / Morall No. 210 car by two laps. The customer entered VDS Racing Adventures MARC car finished third in class.
The Brookspeed International Motorsport Cayman #41 crossed the line to win the SP3 class, with Freddie Hunt (son of James Hunt) at the wheel. Full driver line up was Freddie Hunt, David Pattison, both from the UK, and US based Alan Metni and Joseph Toussaint.
Brookspeed has entered their pair of Porsche Cayman GT4s in the 2018 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, however the sister car was badly damaged during the race and will require significant repairs before it races again.

The Herberth Motorsport Porsche 991 GT3 R (#911, Daniel Allemann / Ralf Bohn / Robert Renauer / Alfred Renauer) scored a comfortable win in the outright standings.
Alfred Renauer drove the Porsche across the line after 609 laps of the 5.49km Circuit of the Americas having pulled a gap of two laps to the 2nd placed Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 (#3, Ben Keating / Jeroen Bleekemolen / Abdulaziz Al Faisal / Luca Stolz).
The Manthey Racing Porsche 991 GT3 R (#13, Steve Smith / Randy Walls / Hari Proczyk / Dennis Olsen) made it two Porsches in the top three and secured an all-German top three in A6-Pro.
