MERCEDES-AMG will headline the return of Manufacturers Walk at the 2018 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

Several participating manufacturers will display a broad range of their road car products at the event, many alongside their racing efforts within Australia’s International Endurance race itself.

Mercedes-AMG are the second ‘featured marque’ at the event, a tradition started in 2017 with Ferrari as they celebrated their 70th anniversary.

Mercedes-AMG has revealed concept art for their stand in Harris Park, that will include a display of one of their FIA Formula 1 World Championship winning race cars.

The large AMG merchandise area, for the first time with dedicated Bathurst 12-hour merchandise, will welcome fans as they enter the event precinct in Harris Park.

Mercedes-AMG earlier were confirmed to be providing the official Safety and Course vehicles for the fourth consecutive year, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Safety Car to corral the high-powered field across the event.

“Mercedes-AMG have been one of the longest supporters of the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour and we are looking forward to showcasing everything they have to offer as our featured marque in 2018,” Event Director John Casey said.

“They will be part of an expanded and improved display that will turn Harris Park into something of a motor show – with a huge array of very cool cars, both road and race, on display.

“Several brands have upped the ante with very impressive displays and have listened to the fans who have been asking for merchandise – there will be a great range on sale.

“We have been pleased with the reaction of all manufacturers and their willingness to be involved in this great addition to the event.”

Along with the array of brands featuring in the Manufacturers Walk area, Audi, McLaren, Bentley and Porsche will each have their own Merchandise sites, alongside Mercedes-AMG’s range.

Additional sites will be spread throughout Harris Park which is set to be a hub of activity throughout the event.

Access to the Manufacturers Walk, along with the other major activities in the Harris Park area including Merchandise Alley and Meguiar’s Cars and Caffeine will be free to all event ticketholders across the duration of the event this year.

Tickets remain available for the event, with race day General Admission tickets priced from just $46, including free access to the paddock area.
