**We've looked through some of the best reasons to head to the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour this February - and now we're at number one.**

The 12-hour field brings together an incredible broad and diverse mixture of cars, from the top flight GT3 racers that make up the outright class, to the more production oriented GT4 cars that are currently growing in numbers - all the way to the specialist racers developed solely for endurance racing in the Invitational class.

There's really nothing quite like it anywhere in Australia - a cacophony of sights and sounds.

GT3 remains a remarkable showcase of an array of different vehicles, from mid-mounted Supercars to converted luxo-liners that are startlingly effective endurance racers.

Where else can the McLaren 650S GT3 - with its mid-mounted twin turbo V8 - compete head to head with a Bentley Continental GT3?

Or a naturally-aspirated V10 powered Audi R8 racing with the turbocharged sizzle of the BMW M6GT3.

And then there's the thundering Mercedes AMG GT3s, which remain some of the most brutal sounding cars ever to race at Bathurst.

Of course there's Lamborghini and Ferrari in the mix.. and so too are Porsche. And yes, their Flat six still hangs out over the rear axle and sounds like.. well.. it sounds like a Porsche!

The flat-six wail of the Porsche GT3 Cup Car remains a constant in Class B, while GT4 is set to explode.

There, the Porsche Cayman GT4 will go head to head with the stunning KTM X-Bow that returns for a second go. What’s more, several of the brand-new BMW M4 GT4 are entered to give the German brand ammo in both classes.

In the Invitational class MARC Cars Australia will debut the next generation of their purpose-built endurance racers, some four years after they made their global racing debut on the Mountain. The 'MARC II' racers are set to be properly competitive.

And then there’s the Aussie battler privateer team of the Melbourne based Daytona Sportscars crew, who in 2018 plan to run two cars – the Daytona itself (already the fastest car ever down Conrod) and the V10 Viper they ran in 2017.

Nowhere but Bathurst!
