THE COMPETITIVE debut of the Ford Mustang at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will deliver a show both on and off the track this year.

The ‘Blue Oval’ will make their debut in Australia’s International enduro this year, Broc Feeney to be joined by former race winners Christopher Mies and Dennis Olsen in a Mustang GT3 entered by HRT Ford Racing.

However, there will be more Mustangs off track as well with confirmation that Mustang owners can be part of the first Ford Racing Mustang Corral – to be hosted at The Chase throughout the weekend.

It’s an Aussie first for a concept that has been enjoyed by Ford Mustang fans in Europe and the United States in recent years – the passion for the ‘pony car’ set to flow on the Mountain in 12-Hour trim for the first time.

“We’re really excited that Ford Racing is bringing the Mustang corral to Mount Panorama for the first time,” said Event Director, Shane Rudzis.

“The passion for the Mustang and the high anticipation for its Bathurst debut is incredible, and this is going to be a great way for Mustang owners to really get involved with the debut of the Mustang GT3 in the Bathurst 12 Hour.

“The Chase is going to be Mustang territory in 2026 and it’s going to be quite a sight.”

The Corral will be a Mustang-only zone where likeminded owners can gather throughout the weekend – at the fastest corner in Australian Motorsport – to watch the HRT Ford Racing Mustang GT3 in action on track against a world-class field of GT3 machinery entered this year.

Mustang owners attending the event will have free access to a Ford Racing Mustang Owner’s lounge, limited to Mustang owners and their guests only, where they will be able to enjoy light refreshments throughout the race, or simply escape the sunshine for a time.

There will be limited opportunities for Mustang Owners to bring their Mustang to a premium Mustang Corral parking and display area, adjacent to the Owner’s lounge. These will receive Tunnel passes to allow vehicle access to the infield of the circuit where the corral will be located.

There’s also set to be a presence of other local Ford Racing products at the Mustang Corral, showcasing Ford Racing’s heavy involvement in Australian motorsport in 2026.

The activation is designed to bring the passion of Ford Mustang trackside to the iconic Mount Panorama circuit and elevate Ford Racing’s presence to fans at Australia’s International Endurance race.

Ford Mustang owners can pre-register to receive the latest updates (LINK HERE - Choose Bathurst 12 Hour in dropdown), and to gain early access to the Ford Racing Mustang Corral at this year’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, to be held on 13-15 February.
