Supercars, Scott Taylor Motorsport and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) have launched a new nationwide initiative inviting Australians to put their name on a Virtual Car, share it with their mates, and raise vital funds in the fight against prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer — and it’s set to affect nearly 29,000 men this year. With one in five Australian men expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime, the message behind this campaign is simple: Getting checked saves lives.

Australians can support the campaign by making a donation to get their name on a Virtual Car for this year’s Bathurst 12 Hour, sharing the car across social media to create life-saving awareness about early detection.

Every donation helps fund PCFA’s critical work, including world-leading prostate cancer research, awareness programs, and support services for men and families impacted by the disease.

Running from February 13–15 at Mount Panorama, the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will once again use one of the country’s biggest motorsport stages to reach thousands of fans — and spark conversations that could save lives.

Now recognised as one of the world’s premier endurance races, the Bathurst 12 Hour brings together international stars, local legends, and passionate fans — making it a powerful platform to connect with men and families nationwide.

“Motorsport has an enormous and passionate audience, and this platform allows fans to turn that passion into purpose. By donating a Virtual Car and sharing it with their mates, families and networks, supporters can help take the message well beyond Mount Panorama," said Shane Rudzis, Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour Event Director.

Added Scott Taylor; “This partnership is built on mateship, awareness and action. Prostate cancer has touched many in the racing community and when you realise one in five Aussie men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, it puts real weight behind what we’re doing. So, get involved, talk to your mates and get behind our #GetChecked message.

“Bathurst gives us a powerful platform to reach men where they are, and this new website helps take that message far beyond race weekend," said Anne Savage, CEO – Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

"By sharing the Virtual Car, supporters are helping ensure men and families affected by prostate cancer know they’re not alone.”
