SRO Motorsports Group has updated the Balance of Performance regulations ahead of the Sunday's Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour.
The 2026 edition of Australia’s International Enduro will commence at 5:45am local time.
Mercedes-AMG secured a 1-2-3 in Saturday’s Pirelli Pole Battle, with Scott Taylor Motorsport’s Cam Waters claiming his maiden Allan Simonsen Pole Trophy.
Ahead of Sunday’s race, a series of pre-race Balance of Performance changes have been locked in.
Five kilograms have been added to the 10 Mercedes-AMG entries, which will be run by STM, Craft-Bamboo, Tigani Motorsport, Heart of Racing by SPS, GWR/RAM, 75 Express, Grove Racing, and Team GMR.
The two Arise Racing-run Ferrari 296s have had 15 kilograms reduced, along with a rear wing angle reduction and turbo increase.
The Aston Martin Vantage (Volante Rosso), Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (JMR), and McLaren 720S (Optimum Motorsport, Volante Rosso) have all been given a 10 kilogram reduction.
The Corvette has also been given a minor reduction in minimum rear wing angle from 6.5 degrees to 6.2 degrees.
It comes after the two JMR Johor Racing Corvettes qualified 25th and 26th out of the 31-car GT3 field.
The Audi R8, BMW M4, Porsche 911, Ford Mustang and Lamborghini Huracan remain unchanged.
Sunday’s race will commence at 5:45am local time.
