The 2012 Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour will be held over the period 24 to 26 February 2012. In 2011, 17 exotic GT vehicles joined production cars for the first time providing a memorable spectacle, with Germany’s Team Joest victorious in their Audi R8 LMS. In 2012, the same formula will apply along with some additional classes of vehicles being eligible to compete. With international interest high, expect to see a significant amount of foreign raiders descend on Mount Panorama in an attempt to take the outright trophy offshore again. In addition to the GT cars competing for outright victory, there will be a fierce battle for class honours among the local production car ranks. Brands likely to be competing for outright honours include Aston Martin, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz and Porsche. Class bragging rights will be fought between a host of marques including BMW, Ford, Holden, Mitsubishi and Subaru. Car clubs are invited to attend the Event though a special offer providing a dedicated area to display your vehicles and watch the action. Benefits include:

2. Reserved area to showcase your vehicle in Harris Park (bitumen)

3. Opportunity to participate in parade lap of the Circuit on the Saturday during the scheduled resident access break

1. Any passengers in vehicles will be required to purchase an event ticket either in advance (www.ticketek.com) or at the Gate (advance daily tickets start at $15)

2. Camping is available at the Circuit for $60 per site (10m x 8m) with showers, toilets and security patrols (book through www.bathurst12hour.com.au)

3. Bathurst Township is less than 5 minutes drive from the circuit with a bus service day and night

4. The Top of Mountain is accessible for viewing on-track action during daylight hours daily
