The Promoter is able to arrange transportation by sea or air in association with Gibson Freight International (www.gibsonfreight.com).

Despatch/ return arrangements are in place for race cars originating from Auckland, Christchurch, London, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Hamburg, Genoa, Barcelona, Kobe, Kula Lumpur, Hong Kong and Singapore and other cities by arrangement. Race cars and support equipment could be delivered by teams to facilities adjacent to sea or air ports. Alternatively arrangements could be made for pick up from team garages.

Upon arrival in Sydney, sea containers and airfreight units would be transferred to the Gibson Freight bonded warehouse adjacent to Sydney port and airport for Customs and Quarantine inspection and clearance.

Owners and/ or team personnel could choose to be present at these examinations. Race cars and support equipment would then be repacked into containers and transferred by Gibson Freight swinglifter trailers to the Mount Panorama circuit, Bathurst where they would be lifted off for teams to unpack assisted by Gibson Freight personnel.

At the completion of the Event, race cars and equipment would be repacked into containers by teams assisted by Gibson Freight personnel who would remain on site for the duration of the Event to provide assistance and information as required. Packed containers would be swinglifted to Gibson Freight trailers and taken to Sydney for return to their city of origin.

Containers arriving into Australia prior to the Circuit being accessible would be stored at Gibson Freight as would containers returning from the Circuit prior to availability of a return sailing.

Air freighted race cars and support equipment would be unpacked and repacked at Gibson Freight air terminal adjacent to Sydney Airport. Transfer to and from the Mount Panorama Circuit would be by covered trailers with “roll off, roll on” capacity directly to/ from pit bays.

Upon arrival back at each city of origin, race cars and support equipment would be Customs and Quarantine cleared, unpacked and made available for collection by teams from their terminals of departure adjacent to sea or air ports. Alternatively arrangements could be made for delivery to team garages.
