MCPHILLAMY

There’s no better way to head to the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour than travelling up the mountain and setting up camp at the McPhillamy Campground. This where the legends of Bathurst live. Located on the top of the great mountain, this campground is in close proximity to Brocks Skyline and the mountain’s Esses. Toilets and Showers available on site. Access campsites via Barry Gurdon Drive.

REID & SULMAN

Reid and Sulman Campground is located at the top of the great mountain, in the perfect position to watch the cars ascent the mountain and fly across Brock’s Skyline. This is a new campground introduced in 2016 for the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour and will surely to a popular location in 2017! Toilets and Showers available on site. Access campsites via Barry Gurdon Drive.

*NEW* TENT CITY AT REID & SULMAN

New to the 2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 hour is the Tent City Campground! Supercars will be partnering with Tent City Hire and providing a campground with all your camping essentials supplied, plus situated in a prime location at the top of the mountain. This campground will include supplied tents, supplied beds, dedicated toilet and shower facilities, communal area and seating, plus lots more. This means less packing and less stress for you. For an easier, carefree camping experience, book a campsite within Tent City.

All bookings can be made through Tent City Hire.

Will previous campers get the first chance to rebook site/s?

If I can no longer attend can I get a refund?
Refunds are only permitted to the extent that the Event Organiser is required to provide a refund by law.

Are campgrounds operating at the Event?
The Paddock, McPhillamy and Reid and Sulman Campgrounds will be operating at the Event.

Where do I check in when I arrive at the campgrounds?
If camping at the Paddock Campground and arriving on Wednesday 1 Feb or Thursday 2 Feb, you will check in at the Paddock gate on Mountain Straight. From Friday 3 Feb the check in point for the Paddock Campground is at the Harris Park Campground Check In booth located at the main gate.If camping at the top of the mountain (McPhillamy and Reid & Sulman Campgrounds) you will check in at the bottom of Barry Gurdon Drive.

Please note:
Each person will require a valid admission ticket to gain entry to the campgrounds.

At the event, tickets can only be purchased from the Ticket Booth at Harris Park, to avoid delays pre purchase your tickets before arriving at the campground entries.

When do the campgrounds open?
All campgrounds open at 9am Wednesday 1 February 2017.

What are the campground check in times?
You must check in before entering the campgrounds between the below times.

The Paddock campground must be vacated prior to 9am on Monday 6 February. After this time the track will close and the only exit from the Paddock is via the tunnel (3.1m height restriction).

All campsites at the top of the mountain must be vacated by 10am on Monday 6 February.

What are the entrances to the campgrounds?
Paddock Campground – Entrance off Mountain Straight when the track in open to the public, entrance off Ray Bant Drive when track is closed to the public (from Friday 3 February). Note: when entering via Ray Bant Drive there is a tunnel with a height 3.1m. McPhillamy Campground – Entrance off Barry Gurdon Drive
Reid and Sulman Campground – Entrance off Barry Gurdon Drive

What are the track closure and opening times?

If requiring access to the Paddock Campground when the track is closed you will need to use the tunnel which is accessible off Ray Bant Drive.

When will my Campsite Vehicle Passes & Event Tickets be delivered?
Your Event Tickets will be dispatched as per the delivery option selected during your purchase. This year your Campsite Vehicle Pass will be sent to you in a separate delivery – anticipated dispatch is early November 2016. Please ensure address details are up-to-date at the time of purchase.

Any campsites purchased after Friday 6 January all vehicles passes must be collected at the event within the campground check in hours.

Is there power available in the campgrounds?
There are no power provisions at the campgrounds. Generators are welcome however; we ask that you consider others patrons with the use of generators at night.

Can I bring alcohol into the campgrounds?
Yes, reasonable amounts of alcohol, as determined by the Promoter, are permitted to be brought into the campgrounds.

Can I take alcohol from the campgrounds into the event precinct?
No, if entering a licenced area you cannot bring alcohol.

Can I park my vehicle on my campsite?
Yes, however you must stay within the perimeter of your site. There is a two vehicle policy for the McPhillamy and Reid & Sulman campgrounds and a strict one vehicle per campsite policy for the Paddock campground. Each vehicle MUST display a vehicle pass. Any additional vehicles can be housed at the main public car park off Panorama Ave.

Can I book a campsite over the phone?
No. Bookings can only be made online or at a Ticketek outlet.

Can I bring in my dog?
Animals will not be permitted into the campgrounds or circuit, unless the animal is a working guide dog. If patrons do attempt to bring animals into the Event venue they will be asked to take the animal away.

What are the prohibited items?
The prohibited items are not limited to the below list. Security and the event organiser can deem an item or activity prohibited at their discretion.

  • NO fireworks, explosives or illegal substances
  • NO glass
  • NO couches and lounge chairs
  • NO unregistered motorised wheeled devices
  • No donuts or burnouts by vehicles
  • NO burning of vehicles
  • No animals (excluding companion animals)
  • No temporary platforms
  • No petrol or gas canisters over 9 litres in capacity
  • No weapons
  • No power tools, chainsaws, axes or dangerous equipment
  • No alcohol that exceeds the reasonable amount deemed by the promoter
